I agree with Aditya. I also see it as a great concept, but also as excess of technology. People do not have money to implement these type of technologies by themselves. Would the government /organizations agree investing on it for the low-income communities, which in certain countries are bigger than the high - middle income communities? However, I see that this idea can lead us to a viable solution that adjusts to the poor communities.

Chely, I completely agree with you. However, i do believe the security cameras they only serve as psychologic trick of feeling you more secure. Which it is good, but it happened to me when i lived in england, i had to cross not very welcoming subways in the evening and, even if there were cameras, my only thought was: these cameras won't stop someone hurting me. But, maybe in the sunny areas an option would be solar powered cameras?
Or, start teaching the new generations to have a positive attitudes towards girls and women.
