Prototype the UX Map 2
Problem: To offer displaced university students new educational alternatives and provide news skills
Target current challenges within the community and create a training process that can be sustainable in the future.
The primary prototype we tested is an on-site dental clinic to take advantage of 3d printing and engineering to provide affordable and personalized dental care in the camps
Steps: 1. Go out to the community and do field work to gauge user needs based on current challenges with dental care. Analyze and compare current solutions to these problems. 2. Create report using finding and research to help support the business idea. Use these reports to pitch idea to potential investors and venture capitalist 3. Finalize primary dental challenges and create prototype and samples for testing purposes. Create samples of dentures, invisalign teeth, dental mold and temporary teeth 4. Use the sample prototype to conduct user studies to collect user feedback 5. Use user feedback and test results and use them to quantify findings and modify the prototype accordingly 6. Launch the improved product to the community and continuously evaluate the usage for future changes
Things to consider: resources, feasibility, mentorship expertise, length of training, length of production, community support, cultural latitude, capability, and engagement
The Innovation Center comes in to place by: - Providing both the tools and the support to create the products - Mentorship-knowledge to create the entrepreneurial environment and business that is community based
