Hello Jim.

Obviously, great minds think alike.  I think couching it as an additional revenue stream to a college and spreading the cost for a student is the way to get this idea implemented.  The new disrupted educational model aspect could seem very threatening to the educational community.  Your thoughts?  Do you want to team up?

Hello Ted. Thanks for the comments.

Now that we are in the refinement phase I am going to focus my energy on refining the projects that have been chosen.

Hey Alexander. Thanks for the Links and great comment.

I think this would not be difficult to prototype quickly and cheaply to learn quickly how it needs to be adapted (small bets).

I wonder if we should try and interest a high school hackers club, or something similar, to take this on as a project? They could probably prototype this quickly and deploy it in their recycling bins and work out some metric to see how it improves the amount of recycling and the correct seperation.

Your thoughts?
