Hi Bremley, Thanks for following up our proposal. We are working daily to reach the 14th with all details ready. Regarding your questions, our mentor Khalid is being a greta support. He lives in Bilbao, quite close to our HQ in Spain, so we had the chance to meet personally last week. Also we are meeting him today or tomorrow, for defining some new concepts on the proposal (more connected with the community research). He has been nice, smart and enthusiastic. Our idea has to profiles of end-users. First, refugees as people on the move, who have highlighted the usefulness of our proposal (humanitarian hotline across the routes), and are supporting our activities since we start piloting in April 2019. Other end-users are potential customers of the pro-cohesion food truck. We interwed various actors, and their receptivity to the technical feasibility and economic viability of the project is awesome. Last, from the expert, we wrote down 3 questions but still are waiting for some feedback. May be we are searching in a wrong place :D Any suggestion would help. Thanks again and keep going!
Dear Khalid, As you know NO NAME KITCHEN has been collecting testimonies of violence at the borders since 2017. In thsi regard, we developed the joint project BORDER VIOLENCE MONITORING NETWORK, a kind of platform where not only our organization but others across the Balkans are adding the info they collect. On the web https://www.borderviolence.eu/category/monthly-report/ Alejandra can see that work and catcxh some ideas for her deisgn. In parallel we work with CPS (Centre for Peace Studies) from Zagreb (Croatia) as they have developed a push-backs map, quite interactive and similar to Alejandra's idea. Here the link https://pushbackmap.org/ I hope it is useful to keep combining ideas and efforts :D Thanks
Hi Khalid Thanks for mentioning about Alejandra We have read her proposal regarding big data across the routes in Mexico. From your viewpoint, how do you think we could use big data into our Border Violence Monitoring Network? Thanks for supporting :D
