Up until I was around 14 years old I was remarkable for not being particularly remarkable at anything at school: not sports, sciences, arts or humanities. However, that changed for me when Mr Green taught the first computer science lesson.

Thanks for sharing this story Mike. From the comments, you seem have really unlocked a rich seam!

Its made me think about how important it is to nurture talents and give children an education and not just prepare them to pass tests or examinations. It would be great to find a way to square this circle.
