This profile was created to share the voices and opinions of people from Kibedya village, Tanzania as part of the Amplify program's Global Conversations project.
Kibedya is a village with a population of about 2369 people in Gairo district,, Tanzania , the inhabitants engage in Agriculture and pastoralism as the main economic activities. Community radio is an enabler in most of these rural Tanzania setups and Umoja in Nguvu is a beneficiary Community Listners Group of Abood FM in kibedya village.
Umoja ni Nguvu is a group born out of the interest in OFSP learnings, it is a chicken farming and bee keeping community. This CLG comprising of six women and four men is passionate about exchange of ideas and poverty eradication, they are enjoy learning newthings. They would like to know and learn more about how to raise their children.
