This profile was created to share the voices and opinions of people from Kibedya village, Tanzania as part of the Amplify program's Global Conversations project.
Kibedya is a small moderately cold village in Gairo District, Tanzania. The village's 2369 plus inhabitants are famously know for Agriculture . Abood FM is a community Radio serving this region, community radio is popular in Rural Tanzania. Umoja is a CLG that is subscribed to Abood FM in Kibedya village.
Umoja CLG has eight members with ages between 29 and 84 years. The group was formed following the information from Radio Abood, they are an OFSP farming group. The group members enjoy when their agricultural and business activities thrive and have a passion towards improving their economy. They want to learn more on how to better raise their children.
