"Innovating towards a clean energy future."
Trevor Drake is a Project Coordinator at the Great Plains Institute in Minneapolis, MN. He joined the Institute in July 2013 and works primarily on Sustainable Communities and Energy Efficiency programs. His current projects include coordinating the Metro Clean Energy Resource Team, one of seven regional teams that work to advance local clean energy projects in Minnesota, and staffing the REAMP Energy Efficiency Working Group, a collaboration of Midwestern nonprofit organizations and funders working on energy efficiency.
Before coming to GPI, Trevor received training in advancing local energy projects from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency as part of Minnesota’s GreenCorps program. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University, with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in French. He was one of three Americans selected in 2010 to participate in the University of Oslo’s International Summer School program on Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development. Trevor currently lives in Minneapolis and is an avid cross country skier and trail runner.
