Dear Julika, thanks for your encouraging words! In response to your question: This is going to be one critical challenge, you are right. And I am happy working with the team of http://civocracy.org. They have already experience in this part and can assist in how to engage experts and keep them engaged. Additionally, I have established first contacts to some food processing organizations. It looks promising to have a critical mass for the pilot phase. From there we will have to see how we can engage more experts. Currently, we are working on creating the pilot platform and use this to approach further experts. For the diaspora, I intend to use my network of Zambians in Germany and elsewhere for a start. Zambians are very active users of communities and groups on facebook, etc. Hence, I see a good chance in tapping into the knowledge of this group.
Hi Marco, Thanks for supportive words. I'm glad you like our idea. I had a look at yours. I think it is awesome how you want to make use of the food waste in urban areas and create job-opportunities for young people. What is your experience with youths in Tanzania? Are they real entrepreneurs or more of survivalists? I assume that will be one of your major challenges, if you want to make a difference. How to engage young people, who are willing to run a business and not looking for a quick buck. From what I read, I think our platform could be of interest for you too. Since you have a clear idea what you want to and some particular challenges ("Lastly, we need support and suggestions on recent technology necessarily for operating Mushrooms Production."). Once we start operating the pilot platform, would you be interested to join as case study? I think, on the other hand, you might also have some good ideas for the communities we will be working with in Zambia during the pilot phase.
