We often ignore the value of an aging person, because they can no longer contribute. Their contribution is receiving.
It's a structured interview process using a computer to benefit elder skills and youngsters knowledge.
Hi Ken, Thank you for the response. It seems that various sorts of checklists/surveys and the like exist. The one you sent, one from another hospital and one another contributor sent that was like an if-then sort of chart. Perhaps the focus of this idea might be more on publicizing the need/importance of fall prevention and offering a selection of resources, the checklists and the ways that communities could use them.
Hi Zandri, That flow chart is such a nifty idea. Did you create that? The survey I thought about would be so much better with that type of "if/then" guideline. The elements that in my view are central are the Public Service Campaign publicized in media and the empowerment of the elders. But ideas like yours are what make it really useful. I see it as generally bring attention to the issue in a big way and then offer good ideas such as yours to address it.
