Scott Shigeoka is curiously and joyfully creating at the intersection of community, stories, design and collective change.
He is a Senior Community Designer and Storyteller with OpenIDEO, which builds communities of people online and offline to drive positive impact through design. He also supports a network of on-the-ground communities called Chapters, operating in more than 25 cities worldwide that design local solutions to our world's toughest challenges.
I think that's a great idea! Green Ops Homestead maybe in addition to the work you do for toddlers and middle schools in the area, you can see if Nenuca Syquia would be interested in testing this Green Warriors program with Homestead, Fremont and other engaged high school students? :)

Hi Cheryl Warnick this is such a great post. I wonder how we can expand this idea to also include public transport vehicles. Rubykiwi3! had a great idea about Free or Reduced Cost Green Shuttle - it made me think how we could combine these two ideas and encourage public transport options to reduce vehicle idling as well.
