I am passionate about:
Creating a world in which people are not limited to opportunities as a result of their racial, cultural, economic or social background. I am equally passionate about environmental issues and especially how these disproportionately impact the poorest.
Hi Simo, this is a a particularly new model for addressing inequality. I love the expression - purpose and potential that youth living with disabilities possess. I'm interested to know these how these young adults have been involved in the program design process to ensure the program is desired and the right model for the people it hopes to serve. Well done and I look forward to hearing more bout how you address this challenge.
Since submitting this idea our team has reflected on how we might improve the way we share and describe this idea to others. So, I am reaching out to the OpenIDEO community to gather some insights, feedback and valuable suggestions about how we might better tell the Green Farmer Collective story.
Storytelling is something we continually work at in Herb Nepal to be able to clearly tell others what we do, what our impact is and, most importantly why we do it. Therefore, we would like to invite you to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Some questions we would like you to consider include:
1). is the idea clearly described or have we missed the point? Is it cohesive? Is there a flow in the story? 2). is the intersectional problem of planet and prosperity clearly outlined? 3). is the need for Empowerment and/or Innovation hub explained?
These are some of our initial questions but if you want to suggest any other points - please do so. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
