"An expert is someone who knows some of the worst mistakes that can be made in their subject and how to avoid them." -Werner Heisenberg"
I am a visual thinker with the organizational mind of a project manager but the dreams of a designer. A user's experience in any industry is the element that encourages people to share the best and worst experiences before any marketing enters the mix.
In contrast, you have a city like Detroit, which has become less connected, less social etc as people moved out after the slow and painful demise of the auto industry. That said, it is trying hard to re-define itself with things like urban farming and artistic communities. What if somehow a city like Detroit, that is now more vacant than ever be paired with the likes of Mexico City and be the provider of mass transit solutions (not in the form of the car) but be the center for culminating the best of all the mass transit systems in the world and create jobs to make all the necessary parts so that Mexico City spend their time and energy on people traveling together versus in cars? Could these kind of pairings translate between cities across the world?
