This is wonderful, Susannah. After flying down to help my mother with a tiny stress fracture in June, both she and I were very surprised by the "loneliness of recovery" as you call it. I think this loneliness is really what's at the heart of the matter with recovery from bone injuries for anyone, let alone older adults. I love that you are addressing those feelings of isolation.
Thank you so much, Manisha for your encouragement and the guidelines. I am not very technical and don't have very much in the way of a device or a tangible "thing" but I hope that something from my Mom's experience can contribute to other's preventing or healing fast from fractures in the future.
