Let kids and teenagers plant, nurture and harvest vegetables and then let them cook it how they want. As a chef, i have cooked and grown veggies with kids and i have seen their creative minds flourish. Lets introduce this in schools.

Growing up in the Netherlands i attended a Rudolf Steiner school, during the school year the teacher would read stories and mythology, this was the biggest spark triggering my imagination and creativity during my school life.

So true Alice, it's funny when I take the kids to pull carrots out of the ground and they are all shapes, sizes and colours often no connection is made. I often get the response "that's not a carrot, it doesn't look like the ones from the shop". This reliance on supermarkets needs to change.
