Social Worker/Social Development Practitioner
"Live Life - The biggest risk will be the one that you don't take. The worst regret you can have in life is not for the things that you did wrong, but for the things that could have been right but you never did."
I am a Canadian who wants to live in Africa. Kenya or South Africa would be nice, but I am not too picky at the moment. I love the fact I grew up in Vancouver; that I have had the privilege of having an excellent education; and that I have probably the most supportive family ever. I am grateful for all the friends I have made during my school, travels, and adventures. I am passionate about people - meeting new amazing people, getting to know them, and learning from them. It's why I am a Social Worker/Development Practitioner.
I am 30 years old. I enjoy fashion, food, art, and music. I love the detail and beauty I see around me. I am an avid scrap-booker, but not just of mementos, but of interior design and decor, fashion, recipes, and travel destinations. It's probably why I love Pinterest. I refuse to live my life with regret and "what ifs," it just drains you and is so pointless. I firmly believe, like Baz Lurman's Sunscreen Song says, "Don't worry about the future, or know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real worries are likely to be the kind that blindsides you on some random Thursday." Of course it doesn't always work, but I that's why I have wonderful supportive friends and family.
