Yes! Growing food or just plants in general is one of our purposes with this cup. We mentioned that there would be many different colors of the cup and that in each one there would be different seeds, so for example, if you get the yellow cup, you'll know that you can plant a guava tree with it. Growing trees takes a long time, but imagine if we start doing this now, how much trash would be replaced by trees in a couple of years? Our planet would be full of trees or vegetation in general as we had never seen it before.

The process of making of the cup is very simple and doesn't require of much, but, we definitely need compression machinery so the corn leaves take shape and so that they don't move loosely. Having people volunteering on the process of making of the cup sounds great! but if we want that to happen we'll have to research and try to find a way to make a high quality cup without compression machinery so anyone can do it.

Our goal is to replace regular disposable cups all around the world, so when it comes to people buying a drink, they won't have choice but to get their drinks on the Maiza cup if they're not using a reusable one.

Thanks for supporting the idea and sharing with us about the voulnteering initiative! We'll be definitely looking forward to carrying out this idea and help people be part of it as much as posible.
