I have been researching literacy for the past five years and have won a Research Award, numerous grants and the 2015 NCTE media literacy award for innovation in literacy. In 2016 I was accepted to be part of the Barbara Bush X Prize competition, which designs software for solving literacy problems. This year I am invited to Oxford to attend the World LIteracy Summit, an invite only conference.
