Leaving your life, as if today might be the last day of it, is a powerful technique which can provide unlimited source of creative confidence. So how can we start living by this simple rule without waiting for dramatic events in our life to happen?

Steve Jobs and many others talked about the power of thinking about death to motivate us to follow our dreams, but this issue is not broadly discussed. Providing training on utilizing the idea of death to pursue our creativity could help.

This is exactly my point, we are not comfortable thinking about our own death, but this is inevitable. It also seems to me that many great people got to the point where they became very comfortable thinking about their own mortality and this ability empowered them. So the idea is to learn to be comfortable with those thoughts. This might help not only with creativity, but with other aspects of our life as well.
