I am passionate about:
Death. That sounds strange, doesn't it? It all started 20 years ago when my husband died. We had a five-year old daughter. And he had a daughter (16) and son (19). After some years I thought I had to make sense of his death. And became a counselor.
A little known fact about me is:
Had to think about that... I am more or less an 'open book'. I think that few people know that I constantly worry about my cancer coming back. That my whole life revolves around staying healthy.

"Down to earth and what you see is what you get"
Twenty years ago my then-husband died. After years of grieving I had to make sense of his death (a well-know phase in the bereavement process). My way of doing that was to start counselling others. I focused on children, as there was little known how children grieve and how to counsel them. I joined Stichting Achter de Regenboog and started my own company. Of couse I expanded and now I not only work with children but also with adults. After death, but also in the face of death. I make movies about their lives, so that children will have a vivid memory of their deceased parent.
