I am passionate about:
learning from others, helping others; and reading/writing stories.
A little known fact about me is:

I am Vestine Umubyeyi Lajustine, I am Rwandese, I am married and have one son. I hold a degree in French Language and Literature and I am pursuing an online diploma course in Liberal Arts, specifically in Education. I volunteer as an assistant Tutor with JC-HEM. I speak fluently four languages notably, English, French, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda. I am a christian and my hobby is to read and write stories. I have arrived in the camp in 2009 leaving behind my family members and my job due to the lack of freedom of expression in my country. Now I am looking forward to what the future holds for me.
Thank you Luisa, my community was impacted in terms of desire to get involved in community issues. Before community members were used to wait for community leaders to react on their problems but now they understand that they also have a role in resolving their problems. For example, together with women in my community we have created a traditional dance group that involve young girls and boys. we believe that it is going to help our young girls and boys to grow up with positive values from Rwandese culture. We also talk about our communities problems such as water and sanitation. Thank you, Vestine.
Hello again, I have read you interesting curriculum, and it is well scheduled and I have few questions: are you going to work with youth who are in schools or even those who never had a chance to attend schools and are interested can join? Is there any age limit for beneficiaries of the project? In which area exactly do you intend to conduct the workshops? I also suggest that all phases may be held during holidays for the success of the festival/exhibition phase.
