Hello Brandi! Really admire the presentation of ideas and all the work your community has put into this! Especially loved looking through the attachments. Looks like similar challenges and ideas we have on the North Coast of Oregon. Mobile processing units and mobile markets are one of the components we have also considered for reaching marginalized parts of our community (we are in the midst of feasibility/business planning for some of these ideas; University of KY has some good info on MPUs), as well as educational programs that bring food to life and recapture the lost American pallet for whole foods; it would be amazing to find a way to collaborate some how on finding ways to share knowledge through successful programming or models. One of the things standing out to me in this Vision process is how many folks are striving to implement the same kinds of ideas across our nation. I know some types of networks are emerging for sharing ideas in our region (we have a new state food hub network that meets quarterly to exchange updates and ideas) but I wonder if there are other ways to expand and build upon this momentum and help encourage one another?
