Population Health Intervention Specialist
"Cultivating change through the art of authenticity, motivational persuasion, and creative collaborations."
From grass roots outreach to corporate strategic planning, I bring a comprehensive public health background and diverse skillset. With over twenty years of experience filling multiple community health capacities, I believe the recipe for future public health involves combining the following key ingredients
1. Community Collaboration- creating non-traditional partnerships using a variety of social media platforms in order to identify and empower new leaders, solve complex problems through new intelligent processes, and foster the growth of an open government philosophy.
2. Emotional and Innovative Intelligence- change management relies on the effective use of communication strategies within multiple contexts and the ability to establish genuine rapport with target audiences. Leaders must be equipped with exception emotional intelligence in order to build effective teams and allow for those teams to utilize their innovative intelligence in a safe environment where they do not feel threatened by traditional practices.
3. Strategic Sustainability Development- From advancements in technology, more employees struggle with work/life balance, economic challenges, and other life complexities that interfere in their work quality and productivity. However, more businesses are now able to utilize alternative methods for accomplishing work objectives. Retaining quality employees is a top concern among most of today's companies. In order to develop and implement effective strategies for sustainability, leaders must recognize and deal with the increasing needs and demands of their workforce. Not only is flexibility a concern, but the overall need for on-going training is crucial for employee development. Using the new scientific trend of "Talent Analytics" helps companies hire the right staff and keeps "quality" in existing staff.
