Tristan, I am part of the 1.5'ers team from the greater Dayton, OH region. We really like what you all have developed; particularly in terms of your initiative to reduce food waste . A data-based optimization approach is really good and quite scalable everywhere. We have been conceiving of an optimized food growing system aligned with nutritional needs, subject to economic constraints on farmers

I do have a few suggestions or questions. Your vision mention tastings of exotic fresh fruits. It isn't clear if these are locally grown. Are you sure that you don't want to emphasize locally and regeneratively grown foods?

Also, it isn't clear the dislocation you are relying on to get people to buy into your system as consumers and producers. You may want to give that some though. Kevin Hallinan

We are reaching out to other teams which have 'pieces' of ideas that could augment what we are trying to do.

Whew! I (we) have had 3 or 4 meetings per day since the notification. Coronovirus has made people wary about meeting in person. We're now organizing Zoom refinement meetings with our Food Coalition branches.
