"Luck is the point at which opportunity meets preparation"
Eric is a motivational leader, with experience developing and executing marketing strategies and programs, developing and coaching talented individuals, and leading change. He has a strong track record of exceeding performance expectations in both domestic and international markets.
Eric is currently an Associate Director at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he spends much of his time coaching and developing MBA students who wish to pursue careers in marketing, consulting, or supply chain. He is the Co-Director of the Leadership Academy, and has helped lead efforts to reposition the brand of the Kelley School. He also teaches marketing research classes in the Kelley undergraduate program, and professional development courses in the Kelley Direct program. Eric consistently generates exceptional ratings from his students for his teaching, and he has won several awards for teaching excellence.
Prior to Kelley, Eric spent 10 years with Eli Lilly and Company, during which time he advanced from a marketing research associate to the Chief Marketing Officer in the United Kingdom. He excelled as a leader in marketing, sales and operations roles during his tenure, though his proudest achievements were the promotions of over a dozen of his employees under his leadership.
Eric spends his free time with his family -- and he can often be found having a tea party with his 4-year-old daughter or having a Lego battle with his 7-year-old son.
