Katherine commented on COVID-19 Detection on a Handheld Smartphone-Enabled Platform

Reading how 40% of residents had symptoms of depression and how COVID-19 will further social isolation just broke my heart. And the data from 2017 stating that 40% of facilities have at least one infection control deficiency... thank you for sharing the KFF article, Susan Jackewicz - this is an incredibly eye-opening article.

Isaac Jumba and Susan Jackewicz we are definitely heavy on engineering and biology and also have team members in finance and operations. We know that logistics and distributions are definitely weaker for us, which is why when we work on our cholera detection device we always work with partners, because we realize we have a lot of room to grow and that other partners are experts! As for FDA - we are looking at the pathway for FDA EUA and have scoped out the templates provided by the FDA specifically related to SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics (looking at cross-reactivity testing, etc). If we could partner right now we would look for manufacturing with GMP, working in a lab space that is CLIA certified, a 3rd party testing facility to further verify all data, and regulatory gurus to help us on our path ;). Thank you again for the great questions!

Susan Jackewicz thank you for listing the many different potential customer segments! Far beyond what we thought of (i.e. vet's homes, cruise lines). We are trying our best to keep laser focus and are totally in agreement there. Thank you for all of the hope and positivity you bring with your posts. It's both encouraging and thought provoking for where we could go. I so greatly appreciate it.
