I am curious and passionate. As a group, I think we can achieve great things. With an open mind and parters in crime we can tackle today's stickiest environmental and social problems. I work with nonprofits and governments on community engagement and management, research and analysis, collective impact, and strategic planning. I love to solve a problem - be it through collaboration, research, design, or outreach.
Enrique, I love these projects. I have worked with communities in San Francisco and California on large scale mural project and I would be interested to see how projects like these can also educate, empower, and prepare for some of the challenges brought on by climate change. Have you seen anything like that - using public art to talk about preparedness and alternatives in the face of environmental threats?
Jiaorui, what an interesting way to make wind energy more accessible. I have a small solar charger for my phone and I love it. But often I end up leaving it at home. Maybe it's because I'm worried that sunlight is unreliable (but I live in California, so that's not really the case). It I might not really know how the technology works. I'd be curious to see what kind of education and awareness campaign this project has planned. I wonder if more people would use these types of solutions if barriers to use were removed.
