Elevating becoming a caregiver to the status of a significant life event (which it is!) was one of the reasons we were really excited about it. With a strong partner on board (AARP? Alzheimer's association?) smart marketing and positioning, this is also immediately actionable.
Great questions! I think connecting to Glassdoor would be a great way to connect and share out resources. There is a similar section happening at Monster (https://www.monster.com/career-advice/article/caregiver-support-employee-benefits-1117). The first organizations that would be a good fit for the certification should rank high in a rubric developed. Categories included would be: flex time, the ability to use sick days to support family members / domestic partners, counseling services, financial and legal support, and potential additional support services. From there, organizations that are ranking high in those categories can apply for the certification - which re-enforces their dedication to their employees and showcases to the public their values. We would also love to see "big names" amongst the early adopters- perhaps Google? What about Ideo? :)
