Perhaps you can ask via social networks, local classifieds like Craigslist, or other local art community forums for participation. For example, I am a member of the Facebook group SF Artists Resources - Art Span and people often post asking for participation help or ideas. It's a great way to brainstorm, too!

Hi Miriam, I just learned that too about keeping your freezer full! I think there are so many tips we can learn from each other that is so easy to activate, while easy to forget. Just doing this research myself has kept me more mindful around the house. Thanks for sharing!

I like that idea of a phase two - going beyond the home. I also agree with mentioning specifics -- having data or numbers against savings will make it even more real and tangible. All of these helpful little things we can do will add up more than we think! Thanks for your feedback!
