Hi Itika Gupta Thanks and this is a great question - we will definitely ponder detailing that more as we continue refining our vision - I will share it with our team. We hope to dream big about how it can go beyond hospital meals to also include cafeterias, grounds, rooftops and community food-health hubs.
Hi Adefolami Agunbiade Likewise congrats on being a Semi-Finalist! Thanks for reading our vision and great feedback that in places its overly jargon-y. I think we are trying to communicate that we do not see one-size-fits-all solution in our work, it needs to be place-based; there is no silver bullet, but instead need to work on many parts of a system and we see patterns and living systems so its a shorthand to think of them as ecological systems.
I enjoyed reading you vision and found the writing very vivid, it really helps me visualize it. I am curious about two things. Do you see any potential for livestock farming in 2050 as there are many who work on regenerative agriculture who would argue that they are essential parts of nutrient cycling and building soil carbon. Also, from our Nourish work focused on food and healthcare, how do you see healthcare changing in 2050 in your place due to healthier diets?
Thanks, Jen
