Brent, Thanks for your comments, indeed it's an impressive system that can help save farmers time & money thus allowing them to quickly get their goods finished and ready to communities. The solar mills are designed IKEA style, with many plug-and-play components that are easy to maintain and replace - no more difficult than maintaining a diesel mill. Yes absolutely - Training is given to farmers during installation, and in many cases a 3-5 year loan is used that includes monthly visits to the farmers for loan collection, which can also act as a chance for technical checks/preventative maintenance. Farmers can reach support by phone at any time for ongoing troubleshooting.

Hello Toni, You are correct - Village Infrastructure Angels (VIA) is not yet in Zambia, and we are assisting them with market entry to the country through our established renewable energy venture, Mikail Enterprises. a social enterprise dedicated to bringing clean energy solutions to rural villages. VIA aims to find partners in many countries globally that can help build and manage poverty-alleviating micro-infrastructure projects for rural villages, as well as being present in a few core countries, but using a generic, replicable business model. You should email them if you're interested in more information. As for our venture, Mikail Enterprises (based in Lusaka), we are bringing the first small scale solar milling system and expect delivery next week, at which point we expect installation and testing. Should you require a demonstration, we can schedule an appointment, but feel free to contact VIA at http://www.villageinfrastructure.org/  Best wishes.
