This concept is a Website architecture/framework that provides a structured community for web entrepreneurs. It is not single ideas that are missing, it is the overall community game plan. Lets organize the fractionalized state of affairs!
Again, awesome concept. Something like this would find more users than expected. This Site would offer the ability for professionals transitioning between careers to build their resumes. You could call it Bridging the Gap or Venture Transitions!
One difficulty with ideas like this is how to ensure that the work a startup contracts someone to do is done to a satisfactory level and in a timely manner. Perhaps there is need for an intermediary that makes sure projects are done correctly. If a user that agrees to fulfill a job fails, they could have a rating that goes down and likewise a rating that could go up with a job well done. In this way, individuals who complete projects satisfactorily will stay in the game.
This is great, promoting hands on, real world experience at schools. Chances are you could get a lot of help from university students simply looking to beef up their resumes prior to entering the real world. This would relieve some of the pressure of getting course accreditation. It would probably be easy to structure the credits as independent studies through a specific professor to get around this too.
There is also probably room to attract professionals looking to transition between careers who need experience in the field they are shooting to transition into. Just another angle...
