Full Time Student
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
I'm a Freshman in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. When I'm not in school, I live in Palo Alto.
I've had a strong desire to tinker with mechanisms since I was a child. I loved taking apart toys and putting them back together. As I grew up, the projects changed, but the interest remained. I helped my Uncles fully restore a 1957 Ford Thunderbird and build a small, homemade motorbike. I took machine/wood shop and electrics courses in middle school and auto shop in highschool. There, I helped a friend replace a broken timing belt and pulley as well as his radiator. I also helped remove, rebuild, and replace a manual transmission in a teacher's car. I saved some money by replacing my parents' car's oil, filters, transmission fluid, and O2 sensors.
