Archiebold, We have a small project in Uganda, and also have been looking at trying to collaborate in Kenya somehow. One plan we are exploring is restoring an unused fish production facility on Lake Turkana that was built and abandoned by a Norwegian aid group. I was approached by a MICE development group in Nairobi who were looking at government funding to help with this type of project. Lake Turkana seems to be very remote and environmentally challenged, but a possible resource which could be managed to provide food and water to communities in that area. Let me know more about your work and if there is someway we could help you. www.earthembassy.org

Dear VDC, Thanks for saying hello. Your projects are very diverse and look like you are having good impact. Our work is also centered around "village" development, both in the traditional sense and also looking at ways to revive the elements of environmental and social care the villages can provide to 21st century urban communities. I worked on a development project for a piece of land in New Dhaka a few years ago. Loved my time in Bangladesh. Let me know if there is some way you can see for us to collaborate? jreiner@earthembassy.org

sincerely,

Jacob

Emeka, We can help provide you with vacuum packing equipment, which pulls all of the air out, so food is preserved in an oxygenless environment ( no food for mold). We also have a compact canning system, which can fit into a 20' container. I expect you get get shelf life of 3 years.
