"My heart boils when the question is food production, social ad business innovatn"
I am a young Mozambican graduate in finance but passionate about food production (Agronomy). Besides being born in a family that lives in the agricultural base, before the higher education I had the opportunity to be one of the collaborators of the Strawberry Growing Association in Namaacha District. Ngulele currently owns and collaborates with an agribusiness organization working in soybean and corn production to minimize malnutrition, especially in women of reproductive age, children and individuals in poor health.
Olá Trupti! Well ... after understanding BHUNGROO's mission and objectives, together with its main key partners, I realize that they can satisfy our main problem or need, particularly in my region and in my country in general (Mozambique), which it is the failure to manage the abundance of precious water resources in the rainy season, so that it is of greater value in the dry season.
Hello sra Trupti! First, please thank you for your observation regarding my presentation. As for the farmers in specials in my region, they are experiencing serious difficulties in the water issue, not only for agriculture but also for various purposes and this lack tends to dominate almost all seasons of the year due to current climate changes. Well, in my region, agriculture is the basis of survival for at least 83.50% of the local population, yet our agriculture is practiced under dry farming intercropping based on local (unimproved) varieties and, in some regions, using animal traction and tractors. Therefore, since they do not have the minimum amount of agrarian technologies allied with the lack of water, they practice agriculture in very low areas where, with little rain, the place turns into logos or even rivers, thus losing little culture in their fields of production. In this context, they are having their cultures disturbed. I congratulate all your collaborative team for your work and reiterate my enthusiasm for the possibility of being able to come and collaborate with you on this issue.
