Instead of having the normal vending machines in office kitchens how about providing fresh fruit and vegetables on a dailey basis. Juice machines could even be provided to encourage people to create fun and tasty drinks that are super healthy!

Felicity commented on Professionals as sometime teachers/advisors

This is a really great idea but not only for high school students but also university students as well.
I am currently in my final year at Newcastle University reading Business Marketing and Management. During three years of study I have been lucky enough to have to opportunity to attend talks by a number of prestigious business professionals, including recently Chris Townsend the Commercial Director for LOCOG. Listening to real professionals take you through their career paths has inspired me and helped me in understanding concepts of my degree, such as market research.
Guest speaker talks at Newcastle University Business school are currently optional, but I think some should be compulsory.

Felicity commented on After school 'Cooking is Fun' Club

Great idea! Just a thought that maybe parents could be invited to some after school sessions and get to sous chef their kids. This could encourage kids to particpate more and give them a chance to be 'in charge'!

I really like this idea! When I first read the breif I was thinking on the same sort of page. Organisations that have the 'world benefit' at the heart of their on of their projects need to be recognised and applauded. Identifying these organisations and awarding them will not only help 'the world' in part but also enhance the organisations brand/coporate reputation. Win Win!
