Hi Issac! Well, when I worked at Ushahidi we did a lot of investigation on how humans in many places respond and react to the crisis both large and small, global and local. What we find is that experiencing a crisis there's a scramble to 'do something' co-ordinate and respond from multiple directions but not many orgs and communities look at building resilience skills during times of 'peace'
Team Rubicon and SARAID community resilience do community training but those of us not 'connected' to an existing community struggle to seek those out and stay involved. We thought that a game/social play initiative with these activities built in could go some way to affect that lull when there is peace.
I've checked out a few projects (so many amazing ones!) but I'll be going through the list today :)
