Emily holds two Master's degrees from American University and the United Nations University for Peace, specializing in natural resources management, sustainable development, and international affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in industrial design from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In 2017 she lived and studied in Costa Rica while being immersed in Latin American culture and sustainability practices. Emily hopes to begin a career in sustainability with a focus on design thinking, social responsibility, climate resilience, water security, and community engagement.
I really appreciate your effort to break the mold of the "conservative" market of protective earbuds. Have you considered how this product would accompany a hard hat or other protective headgear used in and around construction sites? The versatility and flexibility of how this product can be used will elevate it to the next level. The more the earbuds are able to work with existing accessories, the less waste will be generated as well.
