I am passionate about:
Food as a most basic human need and human right, and about the wellbeing and rights of the poor, vulnerable and marginalized populations, particularly the urban poor. I am championing their right to food.
A little known fact about me is:
I went back to school recently at the peak of my career - to learn law as tool for promoting justice & human rights - to enable me to more effectively advocate for human rights and social justice for the poor, vulnerable and marginalized populations.

"Our minds construct our worlds - possibility follows vision!"
I am a public health specialist, with extensive research experience in Kenya, particularly on food & nutrition security among the urban poor. I'm building a legacy of justice, and I am passionate about promoting human rights and human dignity, driven by my childhood and lifelong exposures & aspirations. I'm particularly interested in promoting the right to food, with a special conviction that the right to food is a most fundamental human right, upon which human dignity and other rights depend. I want to champion social change and social justice in Kenya & beyond through social activism.
