It starts with clean water, but everything else needs to be clean too. Clean food, clean living conditions, clean people ... hygiene is super important. Success is much easier if things are clean.
Good point, Jason. I can't give you any hard numbers, but we know good nutrition greatly boosts growth and development whereas poor nutrition can leave harmful effects. This is especially true in the first years of life.
I think you're right on target Michael. Modeling and mentoring are huge factors in the lives of young ones.
