I am a researcher in ecology and evolution and studied agronomy. I have worked in CNRS and IRD on the evolution of pests and biological control agents in France (18 years) Ecuador (4 years), Colombia (2 years) and USA (1 year). I am now based in Colombia on modelling potato disease using participative modelling and crowd sourcing. I realized my research in agroecology cannot have impact if not integrated in a food system vision vision that valorize good practices in the market.
Thank you María, the contribution of the research group TULLPA from UNAL Botogá is going to be central to agromakers.
