Pamela I like your idea of having a business model for the rural women and girls on solar lights. This is workable since a large percentage of women and girls have no access to electricity. So I see this as a viable business venture for the women around Arusha.

I also wish to applaud you for this very innovative idea

Pamela this is excellent thinking. Indeed this will greatly compliment the great work you are doing in Kenya. The idea of promoting women and girls empowerment is very good especially in the Kibera Slum of Nairobi. Most women can't afford the installation cost of electricity. Therefore solar energy will be affordable to many. The drinking water is also highly contaminated since there are no formal sewer system s. Pamela it is great to have water filtration in this initiative.
The work Newvision is undertaking with ACBI is great. I also want to thank 3M for facilitating Newvision accomplish their vision here in Kenya. You have made our women smile. They no longer need to buy paraffin for lighting. Our young girls are able to study better. God Bless you all.
