"I dance loudly. "
I am from Buffalo, New York and moved to the Bay Area to pursue my MFA in fiction. While in graduate school, I interned at McSweeney's Publishing and The Believer magazine. From there I began work at ScholarMatch, an educational nonprofit that helps under-resourced students pay for college. After two and a half years at ScholarMatch, I decided to take a break and work on my writing. I currently work at Delfina Restaurant in the Mission and am a weekly contributor to KQED Pop. I am also working (forever) on a novel. I like cereal, tea, playing the guitar, My So-Called Life, Frank O'Hara, kendama, balloons, and running fast.
