Sure, we did connect via phone calls, text messages, emails severally. We also met twice as we traveled from various locations to the intervention community, which is Ibeku in Mbaise of Imo State. We had the first meeting with the king of the town and his cabinet, briefing him on our objectives. He listened and liked our ideas, even as he promised to collaborate with us in all of his capacity. The second gathering was with the King and the stakeholders of the kingdom. All the partners were present this time. Ngozi, Uzoma, Doctor Okechukwu, Bonum seeds, and me were there in person. Interestingly, the king and his leaders welcomed us with open arms. The community is set and waiting for the anti-dementia movement to hit their town practically. We took several pictures and captured two videos; which we uploaded on this website last week. I am thrilled and fulfilled to be a part of this drive. It is quite rewarding to put smiles on the faces of people and their families.
