47% of Detroit residents are considered "functionally illiterate". With such a high risk of exclusion, how would they contribute to the city development ? Citizen Talents Schools would be their tool to be recognized and give back its soul to the city

Hi Brian, we should have an overview of similar existing initiatives to see how class sessions are conducted because. it is true that everyone isn't able to teach others naturally, but I really believe that it is not that difficult and with the help of mentors we should be able to design interesting workshops.

Hi Szilvia, the concept should be tuned up... The central idea is that the community would decide the classes and really own the project, But we should probably define a basic package of classes to be taught, including reading and writing, may be vocational trainings too.

The waldorf education theory seems interesting to deepen into the principles and values of the idea. Thanks for these valuable inputs!
