Having finished her Bachelor of Design Honours Degree at York Sheridan Program in Design, Claudia has gained international experience from an academic exchange to The Bauhaus-Universität Germany, a Hong Kong internship and working with clients from Istanbul to The United States.
She loves to explore mixing analog and digital techniques. Drawing on the knowledge, passion and miles traveled, she hopes to constantly use all of her skills to deliver great design and to move forward into design strategy.
The top of her bucket list is to reach the basecamp of Everest and is always adventurous when it comes to food.
How might we also encourage companies to hire international applicants ? Most people say its easier to move to a new city then find a new jo bbut I find that a really scary thought, moving to a place place with no income and hoping someone will hire you. Why don't more companies hire first then allow the person to move?
I also know someone who just recently moved to a small town in Canada because it paid double the amount compared to in the city. Should we be encouraging young people to move to rural towns? Is it worth moving to the middle of no where for a job?
