Tim Jackson I would love to see the product! I tried googling the product you mentioned but I just see the standard cups they have, which has a food-grade liner that can be "easily separate during the standard recycling process". What is that recycling process?

Hi Quest Bigelow ! We have a similar idea! If you have time to check it out, it's Peel-A-Cup
The concept is the same, where we want want to remove the liner from the paper cup. The difference is that we decided to go with aluminum instead of plastic! The reason is because a teammate went to a recycling plant in Brooklyn, NY and they had told her that machines we have can sort out aluminium much easier.

We created a prototype of our cup with a tab too! For us, the tab was more a nuisance than convenient. However, we need to create and refine more prototypes.

Cindy commented on BYOC Promotion

Hi Angie Gan ! We have a similar idea! #BYOC (Bring Your Own Cup)
There is already a campaign out there that's #BYOC (but it's just people bringing their own cups for now) but it needs more participation from people! We totally agree that if there are incentives, people would join the #BYOC movement!

People I've talked to prefer the convenience of a disposable cup. :( Maybe with incentives, they'd participate more!
