Designing involves some theory, some creative genius and a whole lot of practice.
Good design adds to your experience without overwhelming it. It is invisible, like a ninja. It just makes sense.
I like finding the best way to get the meaning contained in a text across to someone who hasn't read it yet. I like guiding people through steps without anyone noticing. I like figuring things out.
I love being a ninja.
Hi Matt, nice idea! I hadn't seen it before posting my own an now I think one could incorporate the other. What if there were different levels of discounts based on how far you walked to get your lunch? Perhaps people could sign up to the app and geolocate their workplace before having access to a list of nearby restaurants or food trucks?
I love this idea- my Brazilian siblings and cousins and I are always trying to steal (or decode) recipes from my mother's great-grandmother's cookbook, and i find myself often calling my father to get tips and refreshers on his mom's Lebanese recipes. It would be great to have a place to put them all together and share. It might be cool to have the app calculate a "heath score" based on the recipe's ingredients and calories per serving as well!
