TechCrunch unintentionally offers its interpretation of Open Innovation.
If Open Innovation describes the process of crowd sourcing ideas, how can physical contributions be fused with the virtual world?
Great thought Anders Tse ! Bringing Open Innovation into a physical, rather than virtual, space was exactly what I was thinking in Bringing Open Innovation into the physical world .
Coffee shops and pop-ups are such collaborative experiences, and really do promote the best creative juices. I would love to keep abreast of your developments in this.
Also, from a business perspective, one could easily convince coffee shop chains to host your idea if they felt that it would attract more customers! Would be a great way to market the idea
Hi Erik Mooij great thought! I completely agree that for Open Innovation to reach its full potential it needs to be widespread, and one outlet is to teach the concept of Open Innovation to students.
Yet maybe you'd agree that the beauty of Open Innovation is it's ability to grow itself and its structure through its own inputs... much like this challenge we are participating in!
Maybe schools could implement Open Innovation platforms internally, promoting open innovation within the school's faculty? Could be a great learning incubator, and ties in with Pranayraj Kondapally 's Preserve the inner child thoughts.
