Hi Luisa,
The idea is inclusive of the acquisition and distribution of the books, including Braille books. To date, I've been the primary deliverer of the books in Sierra Leone. I've also relied on my mother ( who moved back to Sierra Leone after retirement) and her retired group of friends to ensure the books reach the intended communities. At this point, I have a few thousand books and will be able to ship them due to grassroots level donations I've received. Other than economic resources to scale the program, a reliable vehicle is needed.

This past weekend, I launched GIRLS! Philadelphia with a group of African children from various countries. The website will be updated this week as I've done programs including book donations in Philadelphia as well, including working in schools with immigrant children. My dream is to have both groups grow in the same manner.

Thank you,

Carol
